Commercial readiness is a chain, not one permission
A platform can allow commercial use while the project still contains assets, music, fonts or third-party material with separate restrictions. Selling safely requires a record of where each important component came from, which plan was active when it was generated, and what the current terms allow.
Evaluate the whole sales path
- Rights: Confirm commercial rights for generated code and every asset source.
- Distribution: Verify that the export format works on the store or channel you intend to use.
- Maintenance: Keep a version you can rebuild after bugs, operating-system changes or policy updates.
- Disclosure: Check the destination store's current AI-content and product-disclosure requirements.
- Support: Plan how customers receive fixes, refunds and basic help.
Rosebud says paid plans include commercial rights and that creators keep their profits, but the current plan details and terms should still be saved and rechecked before launch. Pocket is better treated as an experimental social platform until a documented creator-sales and export path exists.
Produce a clean build on a second device, keep a source and asset manifest, verify the license for every imported file, and ask an uninvolved tester to complete the game twice. A generated prototype becomes a product only when it can be delivered, understood and supported.
Separate platform permission from market viability
Commercial rights answer whether you may sell the output; they do not answer whether customers will buy it. Validate the hook with a small public prototype, collect specific feedback and estimate the work required to reach release quality. Do not pay for a larger plan merely because the generated concept looks impressive to its creator.
Before launch, create a release folder containing the final build, source or project export, licenses, asset manifest, current terms, store copy and known issues. Test the download and installation exactly as a customer would. If the game depends on a hosted service, document that dependency and decide what happens if it becomes unavailable.
Commercial projects also need a maintenance decision: who will fix a broken save, compatibility issue or store-policy problem six months later? Choose a tool and scope that leave a realistic answer.

A browser release, downloadable PC game and mobile-store app have different packaging and policy requirements. Decide the first sales channel, then verify the exact build format and support work it needs. Avoid planning simultaneous release everywhere; one functioning channel provides better evidence and fewer variables.
